Meet: Opie

Meet Opie, is a beautiful, charming Goffin Cockatoo looking for his forever home! Opie is a fun-loving bird who loves to dance and entertain. He has the cutest voice when he says Hi!

Opie is a sweet guy. He loves head scratches. He is hesitant to step up from inside his cage but does with patience and soft body language. He loves to hang out on top of his cage and goes back inside on his own.

Opie is looking for an adult home where he can thrive. While Opie has a playful spirit, he does not do well with children. He does not appreciate dogs. So If have a peaceful dog free home, and you’re looking for a feathered friend who will bring joy, energy, and a bit of flair to your life, Opie might be the perfect match!

Meet Chadwick (sun) and Derby (green cheek)

Chadwick, a Sun Conure, and Derby, a Green-Cheek Conure, are a sweet bonded pair looking for a home together. They are very attached to one another, although they are not a breeding pair. Chadwick is especially attentive to Derby and seems to understand that she needs a little extra help due to a leg deformity. He is often protective of her and is a wonderful companion to her.

Their exact ages are unknown, but they are believed to be approximately 3 years old.

Chadwick is handleable and comfortable interacting with people. Derby is not yet tame, but she will happily take treats from your hand through the cage bars. She is much more comfortable having that little bit of space between herself and human hands, so she will need someone willing to be patient and allow her to build trust at her own pace.

Because of Derby’s leg deformity, she appreciates having flat areas in the cage where she can comfortably perch and rest. Chadwick, meanwhile, loves toys he can shred and will happily keep himself busy tearing them apart!

Both birds are excellent flyers and can fly very well.

Chadwick and Derby are truly a pair and should remain together. Their cage can also go with them to their new home. They would do best with someone who appreciates their special bond and is willing to give Derby the patience and accommodations she needs while allowing both birds to thrive together.
